Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my web site.
My name is Larry Kauffman. I was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania. From an early age, I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us all; the beauty that exists in nature. Whether it is something as small and barely noticeable as a butterfly or as large and obvious as a waterfall, my great joy is capturing these wonders of nature.
In 1975 I purchased my first camera, a Minolta SRT201, which I used for thirty years until I decided to change to digital photography. The photographs that you see on this web site were taken during my countless hiking, biking, kayaking, and cross-country skiing trips. Most of these photos have undergone very little editing. Thus, when you look at my photos you are seeing nature in its true form and as I saw it that particular day.
Please take some time to enjoy my photographs online. I hope that you will see the simplistic beauty that I see in them. Please always be aware of the beauty of nature… it’s all around you.
